Ride like you’ve never ridden before! The single-track trails are challenging yet fun and you are surrounded by absolute beauty. Fall in Colorado is simply exquisite: golden aspen trees, skies bluer than blue, and temperatures in the mid 70s. If you’ve been thinking about mountain biking out west, wait no more. It’s time for the vacation of a lifetime!
Once you come to Colorado, you may not want to leave! The vistas alone will captivate you, not to mention the small mountain towns and incredible microbrews. Our trip makes the most of the weather and the many options for mountain biking in Colorado.
Every day we mountain bike in a new location, and then we end our day at a different microbrewery. Nightly lodging is quite comfortable allowing you to recover and get the most out of your biking vacation.
The riding is fairly technical, and yes there will be some climbing involved. Daily mileage is from 15 to 25 miles, with the goal of about 4 to 5 hours on the bike. Don’t let the mileage be deceiving, high altitude biking adds a dimension. We are also not in any hurry.
This is not a climb fest, but the daily average climb is about 2500′ to 3000′ feet.
Riders contemplating this trip should be of intermediate to advanced in bike handling skills, and should be of good fitness. What does this mean you ask, since we are all of above average fitness 😉 Call us and we can chat.
Exact trails fluctuate based on participants’ skill levels, weather and seasonal trail closures.
