Adventure Trips Reservation Information

Rafting – SUP – Kayaking – Fishing

Payment Policy

  1. State regulations limit the number of rafters we can accommodate daily. Because space is limited, it is best to make reservations as soon as possible.
  2. Deposits are required to confirm reservations and must be received within 14 days of scheduling your trip.
  3. The balance is due 30 days prior to your trip date.
  4. Group leaders – Make sure everyone in the group understands our reservations policy and you receive payments on time.
The group discount is awarded if the organizer collects all payments, and remits one check then distributes all trip materials to group members.Discounts are forfeited if we receive individual payments.
  5. Reservations made within 30 days of trip require full payment.
  6. Your reservation is only guaranteed after the correct deposit and/or payment in full have been received. Without proper payment, your reservation may be cancelled.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  1. If you cancel your trip, a full refund minus a $10 per person cancellation fee will only be made if we are notified 21 days prior to your trip date.
  2. There are no refunds for last minute cancellations (regardless of illness, injury or any other reasons), no shows or late arrivals.
  3. Wilderness Voyageurs inc. reserves the right to cancel any trip due to unsafe water or weather conditions or to move the trip to an alternate river or section of the Youghiogheny River.
  4. Trips go rain or shine.
  5. Why do we have a cancellation policy? Operating funds are committed to the trip long before the trip departure date, few, if any of these expenses can be recovered on late cancellations. Food, insurance, vehicles and staffing are just a few of the unrecoverable expenses.
  6. Wilderness Voyageurs reserves the right to change the river, river section, length of trip, boat size or number of guests per raft due to adverse or changing conditions or extremely high or low water.
  7. We also reserve the right to refuse participation of any guest who, in our judgment, is not physically or mentally capable of participating in the activity for which he or she has registered. If anyone is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, participation will be refused as well.
  8. If a total cancellation is made by Wilderness Voyageurs Inc. or Wilderness Voyageurs Outfitters Inc., a full refund will be given.
