Day 1: Begin your ride in the heart of historic Savannah, Georgia, and choose to continue riding or exploring on foot. After lunch, you’ll be shuttled over to Tybee Island for a lighthouse tour and a lovely ride. Dinner will be as a group in Savannah, where our lodging is for the night.
Day 2: Travel from Savannah to Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge, 2,672 acres of marsh, grassland, cropland and deciduous woods. Keep an eye out for egrets, herons and a multitude of other native species as you ride to the beautifully situated Open Gates Bed and Breakfast and Dockside Inn.
Day 3: Ride around Jekyll Island, home of Driftwood Beach and a smooth 20-mile ride to give you a leisurely ride to your night’s lodging at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel.
Day 4: Take a quick shuttle to St. Simons Sound to visit the site of the Battle of Bloody Marsh. The island has over 30 miles of paved road and trail. Enjoy a final lunch at the South Dunes Picnic Area.
