Scouts Mountain Biking
Mountain Biking for Scouts in Ohiopyle
Each girl and boy scout will be issued a Cannondale front suspension mountain bike. Then your dirt jockey (bike guide) for the day will cover the operation of your bike, trailside repair tricks, trail ethics, and superior riding technique. Ohiopyle State Park has more than 25 miles of mountain bike trails giving your scouts the ultimate mountain biking experience.
All participants should provide their own water bottle and comfortable shorts. We’ll provide the great day and possibly a new favorite activity for the scouts!

Looking for a more mellow scout outing? Need to knock out some miles for a cycling merit badge? Consider the Great Allegheny Passage, a Rails to Trails bike trail along the Youghiogheny River. Bike rentals are available in Ohiopyle by the hour or the day.
