Santa Fe Bike Tour Route Overview
This 4-day tour of Santa Fe features a special orientation ride that winds through the historic district, a spin on the Old Santa Fe Trail, a day on city bike trails and an out-and-back north on backroads to the village of Tesuque. You’ll be fueled by frito pie and New Mexico green chile while riding at elevations between 6,500 and 7,800 feet beneath a backdrop of the Southern Rockies.

Day 1: Your Santa Fe cycle tour starts in the heart of the historic district. We’ll get to know our group that first morning, then we’ll get to know the City Different. A morning spin has us negotiating the narrow streets around the Plaza, and the areas of South Capitol and the Railyard District.

Day 2: The ride is a climb on the Old Santa Fe Trail to the turnaround point, the tiny village of Canada de los Alamos, and the descent is a dream with views west of the Jemez Mountains.

Day 3: Rise and shine and let’s hit the city’s multi-use bike trail system!

Day 4: Our last day we head north out of town on backroads into the village of Tesuque past adobe homes, art studios, old apple orchards and small farms.
