Great riding, great food, lodging and experiences
Wow! What a great biking trip. This is my groups second trip with Wilderness Voyageurs and they didn’t disappoint. My group of 5 biked the Civil War Ride. We enjoyed the Gettysburg area and flew in and out of Harrisburg airport.
All of the lodging and food was great even the lunches prepared by our guides. The Brafferton and the Antrim were exceptional experiences for the staff as well as the superb food served. The Antrim was a 1900s design with gardens and even high tea when we arrived.
This is definitely a trip for Civil War buffs. It was like a masters level class on those battles. Our Civil War guide was incredibly knowledgeable. There were a lot of hills during the rides, make sure you have trained! We also had one day of rain but we were prepared.
Kathy and Stephanie were our guides and responded to any requests readily and expertly. They kept us on time and track and were a pleasure to have on the tour!
