GAP 5 day ride

GAP 5 day ride

The trip was amazing.! We had so much fun with our group and our guides were incredible. They were fun to be with and so enthusiastic. We were thankful that Rob lead the group out of downtown Pittsburgh. Our breaks had delicious snacks and lunches were tasty. If there was anything special we wanted for lunch, Rob and Barb took care of it. The scenery was gorgeous. Our bikes were very comfortable and perfect for this ride. The lodging selections were excellent. Bright Morning was a nice location right along the trail. Our host was fun to chat with during happy hour. The Summit reminded me of a National Park style lodge. We loved watching the sunset on the veranda before dinner. The pool and hot tub were a nice option after a full days ride. Ohiopyle was fun, we chose to hike around the peninsula after touring Falling Water. The river and waterfall were enjoyable to see. Rob was very accommodating to drive us back to the Summit after we were done with our hike. Our final night at Yoders was great. The hosts made the best happy hour treats and breakfast was fantastic. The accommodations were super. The house is decorated with a biking theme and the house and property were spotless. The history of the house was interesting to hear about. Crossing the Mason Dixon line and the Eastern Continental Divide was cool. Using the GPS ride app was a must. It would be hard to get lost using the app. If you went the wrong way, it would let you know and you could see where you had to go to get back on the trail. It was nice that we could all upload our pictures to share with the group. Barb took lots of pictures along the way and lots of group pictures too. Both Rob and Barb never rushed those that rode slower then the rest of the group. I liked that we could ride at our own pace. Rob and Barb were an excellent team. We would love to take another tour with them as our guides. They shared lots of history about Pennsylvania too. We highly recommend touring with your company. From start to finish, the email updates, packing recommendations, tour information etc were appreciated.

Thank you all for making our vacation so wonderful. Paul and Lia
