Biking the Katy – Tour of a Lifetime!
I thoroughly enjoyed the Katy Trail bike tour … which is my second bicycle tour with Wilderness Voyageurs!
The tour guides were very courteous, helpful and encouraging throughout the trip. They tuned our bikes along the way, keeping them in tip-top shape, and were a great source of information when we had questions about the area.
The Katy Trail is perfect for 6-days of bike touring (5 nights)! The Bed & Breakfasts and Inn accommodations were pleasant and perfect! And the meals were great also — The most memorable meal were the catered dinners in Rocheport and Augusta … spectacular! During the tour, there were 2 meals that were on our own and the group was able to explore the towns some. It was nice to have the freedom to be on our own for a bit, and it worked out good with our group.
The tour of the Missouri state capital was a nice plus.
I agree that this cycling adventure along the Katy Trail is a “Tour of a Lifetime”!
