Women’s Mountain Bike Clinic

Hone your skills and get stoked to ride!

A one-day women’s mountain bike clinic with MTB legend Sue Haywood!

This one-day women’s clinic will include about 6 hours of teaching time. We’ll work on fundamentals of body positioning, weighting, pressure control, balance, moving the bike, using the brakes. Then move on to some specific practice like cornering, lifts and drops. We’ll have some time to practice on obstacles, then move on to the trail and session a few technical spots to test out skills in the real world.

Sue’s mountain bike career was born in the mud bogs and slippery rocks of Canaan Valley, West Virginia. She raced professionally for many years, is a multiple-time national champion and Pan American champ, and is the 2019 Masters Enduro National Champion.  She loves teaching mountain bike skills, especially to women and kids through day and weekend camps and private lessons. Sue is a great teacher who believes the essence of mountain biking is being outside, moving our bodies, loving nature and riding with friends. You’ll come away from this clinic feeling energized and excited about getting out on your bike to shred!

In 2024, we are super excited to have the magical Sue back for 2 clinics.
