Bike Tour in the Finger Lakes region
After a busy spring and summer, this is just what the doctor ordered! The Finger Lakes tour was fabulous! The scenery was beautiful and the food and accommodations were top notch. I also enjoyed the hike through the gorge in Watkins Glen. The rock formations in the gorge are stunning and it’s quite the popular attraction. There were plenty of visitors in Watkins Glen but being there with Wilderness Voyageurs on a weekday after Labor Day made getting access to the gorge much easier and pleasant.
All of the bike rides were lovely. Each gave enough of a workout to allow me to freely enjoy the food (and wine) without guilt but I wasn’t too exhausted after riding each day. Taylor and Lisa were our guides. Such lovely, laid back people. Always helpful, informative, very accommodating and enjoyable guides. They were well organized and their professionalism made the behind-the-scenes support seem easy and seamless.
My husband and I have already begun to talk about which Wilderness Voyageurs cycling trip to book next time!
