Arizona Tucson Hub & Spoke

Welcome to Tucson! On this 4-day Hub & Spoke Bike Tour you’ll ride through distinct high desert ecosystems, explore the Saguaro National Park, and visit the Titan Missile Museum. Each night you’ll stay at The Downtown Clifton; an eclectic Mid-Century hotel with all modern amenities.

Day 1: This gorgeous ride will take you from high desert to a sky island woodland oasis. Climb Madera Canyon to the end of the road, have a picnic lunch, short hike and then bomb back down to the start. After that we will visit the Titan Missile Museum. This Titan II missile site, officially known as complex 571-7, is all that remains of the 54 Titan II missile sites that were on alert across the United States from 1963 to 1987. You will descend into the missile complex, visit the launch control center, and experience a simulated launch. Then journey down a cable way to level 2 of the missile silo to get a close look at the Titan II missile.

Day 2: This scenic ride quickly takes you out of the city up scenic Gates Pass to the Saguaro National Park West.  The lush desert landscape scattered with the iconic saguaro’s make this a ride to remember. Saguaros are the largest cacti in North America can only be found in a small portion of the United States. We will stop and tour the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum.  Picnic lunch and then ride back to the Downtown Clifton

Day 3: Today’s ride takes you up the iconic Mt Lemmon.  You climb through 4 different  ecosystems starting with the desert floor to pine forest and aspen trees. This stunning ride has incredible views everywhere you look.  There are hike options for anyone that is not up to the ride challenge. We also have an option of riding the entire mountain.  Whatever you are up to we can get you there!

Day 4: This ride takes you from The Downtown Clifton to the Saguaro National Park East. We will cut through the heart of downtown Tucson and ride along the famous Tucson Loop to the Saguaro National Park East.  The incredible mountain views, desert landscape and the giant saguaro will make you sad, this is our last day!

We will have a picnic lunch at the end of the ride.  Afterwards we will begin our hotel and airport drop-off’s
