Beginning Friday, July 2, the West Newton Bridge walking deck will be Reopened to pedestrian and bicycle traffic only – just in time for the Fourth of July festivities. On June 22, the West Newton Bridge was closed so that a substructural issue could be repaired. The bridge is expected to reopen to vehicular traffic within four weeks.
