Another great ride!
We just finished the West Virginia Greenbrier Tour. This is our second tour with Wilderness Voyageurs and this was just as good as our first one. Our guides, Gary and Kathy, were fantastic. The route they chose was interesting, with a nice diversity. The Greenbrier observatory was great and was something that I had never heard of before, even though I live only a few hours away. The trail was very pleasant, with much of it shaded and with much of the gravel surface being so fine that it was not bumpy or difficult to ride on.
We rented bikes and I was very happy that our step through bikes had ergonomic/comfort handlebar grips. I have them at home and I even thought about bringing them and asking them to be installed but I decided against it since it was only a 3-day ride. And then it turns out that I need not have worried at all!
My riding buddy and I are both in our mid-60s and in relatively good (but not outstanding) shape and we both did just fine on this trip. I recommend it highly!
