Biking Ohiopyle and Beyond

There is phenomenal biking to be enjoyed in Ohiopyle and the surroundings. The Great Allegheny Passage, the rail trail paralleling the Yough River through Ohiopyle State Park, is one of the gems of The Laurel Highlands. It is only a 2% grade, making the miles easy to pedal through and is spectacularly beautiful. You will ride this section of the GAP on 2 of the bike tours: The Great Allegheny Passage 6 Day Tour and the Great Allegheny Passage 3 Day tour. You don't need to reserve a bike tour to enjoy the trail. We do rent bikes (year round...you never know when it might be 60 and sunny in January!) either hourly or by the day. Aside from the Great Allegheny Passage - there are numerous Mountain Bike Trails in Ohiopyle State Park and the surrounding areas.
