Great Trip, Great Guides, It’s GREAAAAAAT!
Taylor and Dave were very professional, but not stuffy, very friendly and helpful!
From the very beginning to the very end, everything went very smoothly and was very organized – but still allowed for some individual izations along the way. The food was very tasty and nutritious and prepared promptly and with apparent attention to sanitary requirements. The lodging was nice, clean and catered to our specific needs along the way.
As for the location, this is a beautiful corridor in some amazing terrain. We had fantastic weather!
The trail is well maintained, and easy to navigate with or without guides. The only difficulty are a couple of closures/detours for maintenance or improvements, which our guides knew about and helped us to work around these areas.
I would suggest reading on the area and route so the various historic sites have some meaning and something to think about along the way.
