Georgia Gold Coast Tour
Oh my goodness, I don’t know where to start! This bicycle tour was everything I hoped it would be, and I loved every minute of it!
Starting at the beginning, my daughter was to have come with me, but she had to drop out after she found out she was expecting and would be seven months along at the time of the tour. I was nervous about going by myself, but that didn’t last long. There were two other people in our group riding alone, and they and all the others were so friendly, welcoming, and fun that being a single rider never crossed my mind again.
Our guides were Bill and Rebekah, and they were phenomenal. They were helpful, encouraging, personable and extremely capable and knowledgeable about every aspect of the tour.
Our hotels were top notch and very comfortable, and the local cuisine at the restaurants they chose for us was to die for.
This was my first bicycle tour, and I was very impressed at how well organized our trip was. The support vehicle would always be waiting for us at the planned stops, and overwhelmed us with the food! Lunch was usually served to us at a roadside picnic pavilion or a park, and it was always delicious.
The tour itself was very well thought out and well planned to showcase the sights of the area in an enjoyable way. On this tour, one will experience history, rivers, beaches, the ocean, and see lots of Spanish moss!
