Coeur d’alene

Riding along the Coeur d'Alenes trail in Idaho on a Wilderness Voyageurs Bike Tour

Coeur d’alene

This was my 2nd trip with Wilderness Voyageurs. I was on the inaugural Mickelson Trail Bike Tour last year. Sorry I didn’t review it! I had a great time! Brian and James, our Mickelson bike tour guides, were very good. The trip was outstanding!

This year it was great to see James again, and to meet Raina. They were both professional when necessary but also great to hang out with!

We tried to nit pick the trip and the only thing I could come up with was the bike I chose. I was riding the New Kona. It was very good. I really liked the one by gearing. For all the off road trail we rode front suspension would have been nice. Not a big deal! Next time I ride the trail, I will chose a bike with some suspension.

Just like last year, the accommodations each night were excellent. A hot tub each night was a surprise! Food was great.

I guess one issue was the trip was too short .. we wanted to keep riding with you! So, looks like at least 3 of us are going to ride the Katy next fall. Somehow you need to have Raina come down and work with James. All in all it was a blast, and we cannot wait for another WV adventure!

This was Ken’s second adventure with us. He rode The Mickelson & Badlands Bike Tour in 2016, and just completed the Coeur d’Alenes and Route of the Hiawatha Bike Tour.
