Very nice bike tour on Katy Trail
This bike tour exceeded my expectations. Kevin and James were excellent tour guides, I truly appreciated their extra work and efforts to make the trip enjoyable for all…. these guys are always smiling.
I have never bike toured in the midwest. The Katy Trail offered very nice scenery including the tall grass prairie, wonderful farmland settings, nice Americana type towns like Sedalia with the Bothwell Hotel, Boonville, Rocheport and Hermann. I enjoyed riding along the Missouri river. It reminded me of the C & O towpath.
This was my wife’s first bike tour. It was a success for her riding every mile of the trail. I could see her gain confidence each day as she conquered 40 to 50 mile ride days. She is already looking for possible tours for next year for her bike tour # 2.
