Upper Yough Rafting trip
I think I did one of these before, but if not, here goes: I have two sons, 17 and 20.
We did the Lower Yough with you 2 years ago. Amazing. Great Trip. Then my family visited Jackson Hole, WY and we did a 3 miles float trip, had breakfast on an open fire, and then 3 miles of whitewater. We all loved that.
This past summer, my dudes wanted something MORE CHALLENGING, so I set plans with Wilderness Voyageurs to meet up in Friendsville for the Upper Yough. Loved it. I can’t remember our guides names – wild man, had kind of a reddish beard and it looked like he was sort of in charge at Friendsville. Great guide. It never fails to amaze me of the quality of guides Wilderness Voyageurs hires. The hiring department should get a gold star for the people they hire. I’ve never met a guide with this company who wasn’t awesome. I’m guessing we’ll probably come back next summer and do the Upper Yough again at Friendsville. My kids want the “biggest” ride and I guess that’s where it is? I have my photo of the trip on my desk as I type this. Thanks Wilderness Voyageurs.
