Tygart Valley Falls State Park

Located about 30 minutes south of Morgantown WV. At Tygart Valley Falls State Park.

The falls have a very low flow, which helps to make them a beginner friendly waterfall. Just like any skill, repetition is necessary to become proficient. The ease of access is the other ingredient that makes these falls an ideal learning location. We will spend a number of hours at the falls so you can make as many runs as your heart desires. Below the falls is a mile and half of class 3+ whitewater that will round out the day.
