Mountain Biking for Boy Scouts in Ohiopyle

Sweat, get muddy, cruise the trails and have a blast mountain biking! Ohiopyle has fun single track trails that your scout troop will ride! Each scout will be issued a Cannondale front suspension mountain bike. Then your dirt jockey ( bike guide)  for the day will cover the operation of your hi-tech ride, trails side repair tricks, trail ethics, and superior riding technique. Ohiopyle State Park has more than 25 miles of mountain bike trails to choose from.  This will be your boy scout troop's playground for the day.

All scouts should provide their own water bottle and comfortable shorts. Like kayaking - they are likely to head home with a life long sport they love!

• Cost: $69.00 pp + fees

Are you looking for a mellower day?  Need to knock out some miles for your cycling merit badge?   Think about the Great Allegheny Passage, a Rails to Trails bike trail along the Youghiogheny River. Bike rentals are available in Ohiopyle by the hour or the day.
