The borough of Ohiopyle doesn’t hold its own fireworks display but there are plenty of nearby fireworks shows you can go see after your day of adventure in Ohiopyle.  We’ve gathered this list of the best and closest locations to see 2016 fireworks near Ohiopyle for your July 4 holiday fun.

Fireworks 10 Minutes from Ohiopyle

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, just 10 minutes from Ohiopyle, is marking the Fourth of July with a big celebration and a weekend of great family fun, including a Fire Cracker Fun Run on Friday, July 1. Their annual fireworks display begins at 9:30 pm on Sunday, July 3. Best spots to watch? Try the Sundial Lodge or the Links Pro Shop Parking Lot.

Fireworks 45 minutes from Ohiopyle

Join the Independence Day festivities at Seven Spring Mountain Resort in Seven Springs, PA. About 45 minutes from Ohiopyle, they offer lots of fun activities for the whole family, including a canopy tour. The Zambelli Fireworks show is on Sunday, July 3.

Fireworks ~60 Minutes from Ohiopyle

Less than an hour from Ohiopyle, you can check out the annual Fire on the Mountain Fireworks in McHenry, MD. On Monday, July 4, fireworks light up the sky above Marsh Mountain at Wisp Resort overlooking Deep Creek Lake. Fireworks begin around 9:30 pm and there are several locations from which to watch. Fourth of July Rafting & Other Adventures in Ohiopyle

Celebrate the fourth holiday right here in Ohiopyle with a rollicking family rafting trip down the Lower Yough or easy paddle on the Middle Yough or the intense and spectacular technical Upper Yough rafting run. Close by on Sunday, July 3 you can  do double raft runs on the exciting, fast-paced Savage River on its second of only three releases this season, too.
