Intermediate Kayak Instruction

Intermediate kayak instruction helps solidity your class III paddling skills, combat roll and paddling technique. One on one instruction gives you personal time to really hone your skills. 

What will you get with each class?

• Customized day to fit your needs with one of our experienced and enthusiastic instructors
• All equipment necessary (latest model kayak, paddle, skirt, helmet, PFD, wetsuit, etc.). You'll be able to test creek boats by Pyranha, Liquid Logic and Wave Sport.

Intermediate kayak group instruction.

The 3rd weekend of every month you have the chance to join an intermediate group kayak instruction. This will help perfect your skills and take them to the next level. It will be a group session, which will save you some money while still being a great intro to the sport. The cost is $185 per person and includes:

• 2 days of intensive instruction
• All equipment necessary (latest model kayak, paddle, skirt, helmet, PFD, wetsuit, etc.), but you may use your own equipment if you wish
• 2 Deli style lunches on the beautiful banks of the river, or at Falls City Restaurant & Pub
• Transportation
• Breakfast Saturday and Sunday Morning

Friday night Loop Runs

Want to meet other kayakers? Free Friday night Loop runs will begin in June for new and experienced paddlers. We’ll meet at 6:30 at the Wilderness Voyageurs Outfitter Store then head to the river from there. Come join our kayaking staff and practice your new skills, share personal techniques with others or just enjoy the company of new faces on the river!
