Katy Trail Missouri FAQ

Where do we meet and how to we get there?

Our day will start at 8 a.m. with hotel pickups at select hotels convenient to Kansas City International Airport. From there, we will shuttle to Clinton, Mo. for the start of our exploration.

What are transportation options at the end of the ride?

We will shuttle you to either the Lambert – St. Louis International Airport or the Kirkwood, MO Amtrak Station or you may wish to stay in historic St. Charles, MO and enjoy this location a bit longer.

What do I need to bring?

What is the riding like and overall tour difficulty?

The majority of the ride will be on the Katy Rail Trail which has a crushed gravel surface. Some road riding is necessary to connect trail sections and to reach lodging.  There are a few hills that guests can avoid by using the SAG wagon if necessary.  Although the scenery often changes, the trail remains fairly level and constant as it meanders through the countryside.

What is the longest daily mileage?

Just under 48 miles.  SAG wagon makes shorter options available.  Many more details available for you, simply request the 13 page itinerary.
