The trip was a fantastic chance to experience a carefree week away from my hectic world. In addition to the beautiful Midwestern scenery, superb Bed and Breakfast accommodations and very comfy rental bikes, my favorite part were the guides, James and John. Our entire group was so ‘cared for’ in a way that was entertaining and empowering. Almost like being on a cruise. They were knowledgeable and taught the rookies about riding long distances, repairing flat tires, broken spokes and even replacing a seat when one got uncomfortable. They were helpful; driving us to/from the hospital after a slight trail mishap. They were entertaining; keeping us all laughing at the breaks. They were great tour guides; making sure we knew what ‘sites’ were coming up on the trail that day, as well as arranging a tour of the Jefferson City capitol building when some of us wanted to avoid a rainy morning ride. I’d recommend them, this Wilderness Voyageurs company, AND the KATY TRAIL to anyone!
