Erie Canal Trip 9/25/2016
Great weather along the Erie Canal Towpath, which for riding in Western New York state in September was amazing. We didn’t run into bad weather the entire tour, which is always a plus. The riding was great, and the terrain was flat. Daily mileage was fun and do-able, and there were plenty of interesting sites and stops along the way. The areas were rode through were wonderful! GPS computers (or Garmins) were supplied on each bike, which ensured no one got lost. We had to detour in Rochester, but routes were clearly marked and it was easy to navigate. The meals Wilderness Voyageurs provided and prepared on the route were delicious each day.
