Bill HallBill started his affair with bikes as a bike messenger in Pittsburgh. His career in the out of doors started with Wilderness Voyageurs in 1989 when he joined us a river guide during college. Since then he has guided thousands of people down rivers, up mountains, along trails throughout the US, Costa Rica and Ecuador. His wit will keep a smile on your face, and he will have your tire changed before you know what happened. In his down time you can find him gardening at his off the grid home. Ask him about his Venison stir fry recipe. He is still trying to convince his parents and wife that this job really is a grand use of his communications degree, while he awaits the publishing contract for his kids book. |

Gary SmithGary Smith remembers his first 10 speed bike a long time ago. Several bikes later and bike adventures in over 20 states and 3 countries, Gary now enjoys more biking time as a retired State Park employee. Decades of inquisitiveness have filled his head with some trivia and some very dry humor. He can help you enjoy your bike exploration adventure. Gary also travels domestically and internationally by faster conveyances as a volunteer bone marrow courier for the National Marrow Donor Program. He donated his marrow in 2000 and his recipient in Sydney, Australia is now 10 years leukemia free! |

Adam "Sherpa" GreenfieldSherpa came to WV from Kentucky in 2003 for an introduction to whitewater. You may find him on the Upper Yough, or teaching folks to climb, or imparting wisdom along the Great Allegheny Passage. When not working you will see him cruising around town on his fancy single speed bike. During the winter Sherpa can be found in the high country of Colorado laying down some mean telemark turns. |

Travis TwiggTravis innocently began commuting to work on his bike. Next thing you know it is his work. What a lucky guy. Travis began working for Wilderness Voyageurs in 2008 as a bike mechanic. During the off season he keeps busy working in 5 star restaurants (he can steer you on which vino goes with that wrap) and helping friends on their organic farm. He loves to be outdoors and keeps himself going with yoga and skiing through the winter. |

Josh LawreyJosh is a valuable guide here at Wilderness Voyageurs. He has been guiding the Lower Yough, Upper Yough, and Cheat Rivers for 7 years and is one of our expert kayakers. He has also put in guiding time on the Rio Grande in Texas, various rivers in Maine, and two seasons in Costa Rica on the Pacuare River. Do not make the mistake of thinking he is only at home on the river. He will impress you on a mountain bike and can name ANY bird you see or hear. Josh received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Parks and Recreational Resource Management and Environmental Education at Slippery Rock University. He served as Assistant Director for SRU Outdoor Adventures for two years. Josh loves to help you enjoy the outdoors and will always be there with an encouraging compliment to make your day more enjoyable. |

Chris ReeseChris has been grinning on bike tours for fifteen years, including a coast-to-coast adventure. His oddest trip, with one of his teen daughters, touched every boardwalk in New Jersey. He recently retired from Pennsylvania State Parks to pursue a second career as a “vacationist.” A former environmental studies teacher, naturalist, ranger, and park manager, he continues to help folks enjoy biking, birds, boating, botany, wildlife watching, hiking and camping. You’ll find his enthusiasm for people and the outdoors infectious. |
